Estée Lauder Nutritious Radiant Vitality 2-in-1 Foam Cleanser
Price: HK 198 (Sasa) | HK 260 (RRP)
I bought this cleanser along with the Clinelle Deep Cleansing Gel during my last Sasa haul; I have designated this as my PM cleanser once I’m done removing my makeup with the Shu Uemura Anti/Oxi Cleansing Oil as part of my preferred double-cleansing method. I decided that I really should separate my AM and PM cleansers as my skin requires less cleansing power in the morning since I would just be washing the sleep and last night’s cream off my face; the PM cleanser would need to be slightly stronger in making sure that I take off any residual makeup from my face.
In terms of packaging, it’s in a large squeeze tube with a screw-on cap which I like as I can most definitely bring this along on trips in my checked baggage without worrying that the cap will snap or break. This cleanser has a nice light pomegranate scent that did not make my combination-dry and sensitive skin go into overdrive. A little bit really goes a long way as it lathers up quite nicely; once I rinsed it off, my skin didn’t feel tight or dry. My skin simply felt clean without being…squeaky, which in terms of my skin means tight and possibly flaky patches. Given the amount that I use every time, this tube will last me for quite a while 🙂 Although this cleanser is supposed to pull double-duty as a hydrating mask, I haven’t gotten around to using it as such; it seems like Estée Lauder is doing that with its other cleanser, the Perfectly Clean series — which I’ve tried and did not like at all as it was…very drying. 😛
For the price, volume and effectiveness of this foam cleanser, I am a very happy customer and I feel that I’m getting my money’s worth with such a great high-end brand; similar high-end brands usually charge around HKD300-400 for a slightly smaller tube of cleanser in which they have similar claims. I think I have found a product that will be a permanent fixture in my skincare 🙂
